IIT Fast Track for class 12

This is a Program for class 12 Science Students aspiring to enter the IIT Campus. The program starts from May / June. This is a fast track program.

The entire program consists of approximate 300 Hrs of Classroom Teaching with Chapter Tests and Unit Tests.

The Student will have an Exposure to  8000 Problems covering the Entire Syllabus with all the different types of Objective Questions as perceived by the new format of the IIT JEE.

The classes will be handled by expert faculties with rich experience of over 20 years in training students for various competitive examinations like IIT JEE.

Students will undergo Robust Testing at the end of each Chapter on the Model of IIT JEE. Students will also undergo Full Length Test at the end of every phase.

The Study Materials are meticulously prepared by Experts covering the Syllabus exhaustively explaining the Concepts in detail and giving Illustrative Examples showing the Application of Concepts.

Assignments for practice are also provided to enable the student to practice with various models of problems since the IIT JEE tests the Problem Solving Skill of the Student

IIT Twinning for Class 11

This is a Program for class 11 Science Students aspiring to        enter the IIT     Campus. The program starts from May / June and is split into 3 Phases. The Phase 1 is covered in Class 11 and Phase 2 is conducted in Class 12.  Phase 3 is a specialized program for All India Engineering Entrance Examination which will be conducted after the +2 Board Exams.

The entire program consists of approximate 600 Hrs of Classroom Teaching with Chapter Tests and Unit Tests.

The Student will have an Exposure to  8000 Problems covering the Entire Syllabus with all the different types of Objective Questions as perceived by the New Format of the IIT JEE.

Apart from training the students for IIT JEE, this program will also train the students for All India Engineering  Entrance Examination conducted by the CBSE.

The IIT's: The Citadels of Engineering Education

Where are the IITs:

The IITs are seven in number and are located in Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Mumbai and Roorkee. For the purpose of admission, two other institutions are clubbed with the IIT. They are the Institute of Technology-Banaras Hindu University (IT-BHU) in Varanasi and the Indian School of Mines (ISM) in Dhanbad. While IT-BHU is one of the oldest institutions devoted to education in various engineering disciplines, the ISM, Dhanbad is a deemed university and the oldest institution of its kind in India.

What do the IITs Offer?

From the beginning, the IITs have strived to be centers of excellence in all areas. Today, the IITs, the IT-BHU and ISM, Dhanbad offer B.Tech in  32 disciplines, B. Pharm, B.Des, B.Arch, 5-year integrated M.Sc. programs in 7 disciplines, an integrated M. Tech and M. Tech Dual Degree in 43 fields.

In offering these Programs, the IITs provide technological and scientific education that match international standards and is delivered in an environment ideal for building a solid foundation of knowledge and personality development. They also inculcate in students the pursuit of excellence and self-discipline. All this ensures that students emerge from the portals of these institutions, eager and ready to make a mark on any stage, national or global.

The IIT-JEE: How Big is the Challenge?

To produce exceptionally qualified human resources it is important to take in students with material that can be   moulded. This has been the endeavor of the IITs and other two institutions in admitting students. This aim is achieved by the Joint Entrance Examination, better known as the IIT-JEE.

Eligibility

ˇ        JEE will be the sole criterion for ranking the students for admission to IITs, IT-BHU, ISM-Dhanbad and other participating institutes.

ˇ        Candidates who have passed 10 +2 or equivalent qualifying examination and secured atleast 60% (55% for ST/SC & PD) marks in the respective Board Exams.

ˇ        The candidate can attempt JEE only twice in consecutive years.

ˇ        A student can write the JEE in the year in which he/she appears the XII standard examination and/or in the following year.

ˇ        Those who join any of the IITs, IT-BHU, and ISM - Dhanbad through JEE will not be permitted to appear for JEE in the future.

Syllabus for the IIT-JEE is available on the Website of all the IITs and also in the Information Brochure of JEE.

Exam Pattern

IIT-JEE will be a Single Stage Objective Type Examination consisting of 2 papers instead of three, of three hours duration each to test the comprehension and analytical ability of the candidates. Both the papers will have three separate sections on Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. This new pattern is subject to change  and the final deciding authority is JEE Committee.
