What is AIEEE?
Apart from the
IITs, there are Universities and Colleges that maintain high standard of
Engineering Education. Admissions to these Top Notch Institutes are determined
through the All India Engineering Entrance Examination.
Where does the AIEEE take you?
The All India
Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) conducted by the CBSE determines
admission to one of an Elite Group of Institutions for Engineering Education.
The list includes 17 NITs (National Institute of Technology), 25 Deemed
Universities, 5 Central Universities and other Institutions.
Eligibility
Minimum
academic qualification for admission to AIEEE is a pass in the final examination
of 10 +2 or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination. Those
appearing in 10 +2 final or equivalent exam may also appear.
Syllabus
The question
paper for the exam is purely based on the +1 and +2 Syllabus of CBSE. It shall
also be based on a combined minimum syllabus drawn from the syllabi taught in
different State Boards.
Exam Pattern
Entrance
Examination would consist of two papers i.e. 1st paper consisting of three
parts-Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with equal weightage with Objective
Type Questions for B.E./B.Tech. Courses and 2nd paper consisting of Mathematics
and Aptitude Test for B. Architecture and B. Planning.
The Aptitude
Test is designed to evaluate candidate's perception, imagination, observation,
creativity and architectural awareness.
